No Katzentisch? Take a Tray! ♦ Nimm' ein Tablett!

There are a lot of fancy bowls for cats and dogs around. Sometimes I'm tempted to buy one... or two... or three.

That's the problem. I need a lot of those bowls to always have a clean one at hand when Mini wants fresh food. So at the end I prefer those simple white porcelain bowls that can go into the dishwasher.

But I don't like those food and water bowls standing somewhere lost on the floor. That's why I use a tray. This one is made from reclaimed teak. Additional advantage: for cleaning you can pick up the whole stuff at once and the wood isolates the food from drying out by the floor heating.

So, if you have no Katzentisch just take a tray.

Es gibt ja eine Menge witziger Futterschalen für Hunde und Katzen. Und manchmal bin ich auch versucht, eine zu kaufen ... oder zwei ... oder drei.
Genau das ist das Problem. Ich brauche eine Menge solcher Schalen, damit auch immer eine saubere parat steht, wenn Mini frisches Futter will. Letztlich bleib' ich dann doch bei einfachen weißen Porzellanschälchen, die dann in die Spülmaschine wandern.
 

Was ich allerdings nicht mag, ist, wenn die Futter- und Wasserschalen so verloren auf dem Fußboden rumstehen. Darum stell' ich die Sachen auf ein Tablett. Dieses hier ist aus altem, aufgearbeiteten Teakholz. Weitere Vorteile eines Tabletts: zum Saubermachen kann man alles mit einem Griff wegnehmen und das Holz isoliert das Futter gegen die Wärme der Fußbodenheizung und schützt es somit vor dem Austrocknen.

Wenn Du also keinen Katzentisch hast, nimm' einfach ein Tablett!
